This "blog" is mainly for my own use. I am trying to find the best ways to make money. I figure I should make it a "blog" instead of a document in order to make a few extra bucks.

ING Promotional Bonus

$25. Fast. Free. ING will pay you a "promotional bonus" just for opening either a 1% interest savings or checking account through a referral and depositing $250. That's it. You store your money, and they pay you money, it's as simple as that.

I will work at getting some referral links up on to this post, but in the mean time there should be referral links here>  http://www.consumerismcommentary.com/earn-up-to-525-by-opening-an-account-at-ing-direct/

InboxDollars.com

You read emails every day, right? If you had two cents for every email that you read you could be a millionaire by now. There is a website that thought of just that; InboxDollars. You get paid five bucks for just signing up. Then, for every email that you read that was sent to you by InboxDollars, you get paid two cents. Also, you can earn cash back on your purchases made online through links on the InboxDollars website! Yes, this is kind of like MrRebates, but I suggest that you make an account on both InboxDollars and MrRebates so that you can use the one with the higher cash back percentage. And, as if that isn't enough, there are various offers you can complete that give you between ten cents and twenty dollars. AND, you can get paid for completing surveys. InboxDollars is a great way to make money, legitimately.

Just press this button, and you can sign up right now to get your five dollars, and to start receiving emails!

MrRebates.com

Wouldn't it be nice to earn cash back on your online purchases? MrRebates is a site that pays between one and twenty percent back on purchases online. There is a list of name-brand stores that are trying to move items, and are willing to do so cheaply. Want twelve percent back on shoe purchase? Buy from a certain site that is endorsed by MrRebates and it's yours. You receive a check four times a year whenever you accumulate at least ten dollars cash back. Plus there is a five dollar sign up. If nothing else, at least sign up and make five bucks easy.

And recently, a new feature has been added, in which you receive fifty cents for each short store review that you answer. After you shop at a store through MrRebates, go to the bottom of any page on MrRebates and click on Store Ratings. Then click on the store that you shopped at, and then click Rate and Review Store on the page that pops up. You'll be asked your name, and then asked to rate the store from 1-10 in five different categories. Now all you have to do is write a few sentences in the comments section about your experience in dealing with the store. Fifty cents will be added immediately to your account, and it only took about a minute.

Etsy.com

Etsy is an online marketplace for handmade crafts and craft supplies. There is a listing fee of $0.20 and fees from PayPal. It currently has 8 million members and over 800,000 shops. Categories for listing and buying are handmade, vintage, and supplies.

Setting up an Etsy shop is basically as important to selling as the items are. First off you need a good name-something that is not confusing. Next, remember that good photography is key. A bright, exuberant photo is much more appealing than a blurry, dark p.o.s. photo. Lastly, keep your items classy. don't sell your fancy art on the same account that you sell rocks on. Have two shops set up, one for good items, and one for less-than-good items.

Handmade items are divided into many sub-categories, jewelery, art, and accessories being the top listed items. These categories have many items in them, making it hard to stand out, but they are also the most browsed. On the other hand, music, furniture, and candles are the lowest listed items. These of course having few items in them, making it easy to stand out, but they are the least browsed items on Etsy. Any handmade items are difficult to acquire, yet they tend to sell for decent prices rather quickly, depending on quality. There is of course the option for people with lower morals. You can buy items in bulk cheaply, and then pass them off as "handmade", while of course they are not.

Vintage items are items that are twenty years or older. These items are the hardest to attain, but they usually sell for the highest prices on etsy. There are very few items in the vintage category, so any sub-category is basically the same as any other.

Supplies are the easiest to get, list, and ship. They are highly browsed and sell for low prices, but they also have low shipping costs.
